When Pasta Sauce Attacks

I've just been to Asda to do a bit of food shopping. I won't even explain what went on to warrant a blog entry - just click here to look at the photos from the event and see for yourself.

I'll give you a few clues though - pasta sauce, my leg, and a "smiley squad". You can probably work out the rest of the story yourself.

Wimpy Burger Still Exists!

Wow... what an afternoon. I got hungry about 2pm, and decided to drive out to McDonalds. The traffic was terrible, and in one of those "instant decision" moments, I found myself driving up the M5 to seek out the fabled Wimpy Burger - an old 80s franchise that disappeared from Taunton and Bridgwater town centres many years ago.

Anyway, here's the journey I made:



But why so long? Well, I made the mistake of going THE WRONG WAY on the motorway, and headed to Bridgwater services instead of Taunton Deane, so I had to go the other way (OK, I could've given up but that wouldn't have been in the spirit of it) to find my Wimpy.

However, the search was fruitful, and I made it back into Taunton just in time to pick Nadine up from work.

Buy My 3 Skypephone

I've listed my 3 Skypephone on eBay. It's a great little phone, that enables you to make Skype calls free over the 3 network.

Originally I bought it as a stop-gap when my Sony k610i got sand-filled, but I liked it so much I kept it :)

Only getting rid of it now because I've got an E65, and with upgrade time looming in a few weeks, an N95 8GB looks to be on the horizon...

And yes, the storms never came.

Here Come The Storms

They're saying on the TV weather at the moment that tonight and tomorrow there'll be upto 80mph winds, rooftiles coming off houses, that kind of thing. The wind's pretty much nonexistant at the moment though. Could it be an exact opposite of this...?
