Yesterday at work I managed to get my hands on a bunch of 8 mobiles that were going to be binned, because people had brought them in for repair, but they'd been unrepairable. The task I've set myself is to fix up as many of them as I can.
First one to be working is a Nokia 6030. There was just a little corrosion on one of the battery contacts, so once I get it a new cover off eBay (it was missing the back cover), it'll be good as new. I've already managed to unlock it to any network.
One down, seven to go then. What I'm going to do with 8 repaired mobiles is beyond me. The one golden rule is I'm not allowed to eBay them. Hmmf.
